Plus, maintaining a good appearance also helps you climb the ladder quicker. So, to make a good impression, use these tips and tricks for always looking presentable at work. 

Start with the Shoes 

Shoes are possibly the most important part of any outfit. They can tie everything together, or they can let it all down. To make sure you nail the former, choose high-quality, classic shoes that go with almost anything. Don’t worry – you don’t need multiple pairs; just one or two great pairs of shoes can see you through your career (as long as you take care of them!). Get Rid of All Creases 

No matter how beautiful your shirt is, if it has lots of creases, it’ll instantly let your entire look down. Plan Outfits in Advance 

To avoid stressing about the way you look in the morning, plan all of your outfits on Sunday night before the workweek. That way, you know you have five great outfits that you don’t even have to think about. 

Improve Your Posture 

It’s not just your outfits you need to worry about, as your posture has an enormous impact on your overall appearance. While you don’t need to sit poker-straight up with your shoulders far back at all hours of the day, it’s a good idea to practice posture-improving exercises and straighten your back from time to time. It makes a difference!

Use a Lint Roller 

Pet hairs and other bits of fluff can harm your otherwise professional and attractive outfit, so consider using a lint roller in the morning and even carrying one around if you know you’ve got a meeting that day.

Practice Good Hygiene 

Good hygiene is just as (if not more) important than a great outfit. To ensure you don’t make a negative impression with bad breath, dirty fingernails, or greasy hair, keep up with excellent cleanliness. Even if you’re running and can’t shower that morning, a quick wash in the sink is better than nothing!
